The Újpest FC logo is a circular emblem featuring a white field outlined in gold and divided into two sections by a horizontal purple band with a gold border. The founding year "1885" is displayed within the purple band, while the upper section contains a gold anchor with a rope and the lower section features the large gold UTE monogram. The abbreviation UTE refers to Újpesti Torna Egylet, the parent athletics club from which Újpest's football tradition developed, while the year 1885 commemorates its foundation and emphasizes the club's long sporting history. The anchor is a distinctive symbol of Újpest and represents the town's geographical location along the Danube River. Purple and white are the club's iconic traditional colors and are closely associated with the working-class identity of Újpest and the industrial northern suburbs of Budapest. Two gold stars are positioned above the circular emblem, representing Újpest's achievement of winning 20 Hungarian Championship titles. The combination of the anchor, UTE monogram, founding year, purple-and-white colors, and championship stars creates an emblem that connects the club with its parent athletics association, the history and geography of Újpest, and its long record of success in Hungarian football.
