The club's logo is built around a dark navy-blue shield with a gradient border transitioning from yellow at the top through orange and red to blue at the bottom. Chrome-colored lines divide the shield into two sections: an upper arched area and a lower circular area. At the top, an arched "San Diego" wordmark draws inspiration from the architectural arches found in neighborhoods throughout the region. The lower section contains an intricate circular motif known as "The Flow," made up of eighteen slender lines that come together to represent the eighteen cities of San Diego County united within a single symbol. A small "FC" monogram sits at the center of this design. The shield itself symbolizes the strength, security, and unity of the wider region, while its deep navy-blue color, known as Azul, evokes the vast Pacific Ocean and the clear skies above Southern California. The chrome detailing represents innovation, excellence, and the community's diverse character, while the multicolored gradient border reflects San Diego's vibrant coastal setting and multicultural identity. Together, these elements create a distinctive emblem that connects the club to the geography, communities, and visual character of its home region.
