CR Vasco da Gama Flag (GIF)
Club de Regatas Vasco da Gama, commonly referred to as Vasco da Gama or simply Vasco, is a professional sports club based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil that plays in the Brasileirão Série A (2023), the top tier of the Brazilian football league system. This CR Vasco da Gama flag (Portuguese: bandeira do Vasco da Gama) is based on the team's jersey in 1898 and consists of a white sash running from the upper left corner to the lower right corner on a black background. In the middle of the sash there is a red cross, symbolizing Christianity. And the eight stars in the upper right corner of the flag represent the eight championships in the team's history.
