Grêmio Foot-Ball Porto Alegrense, commonly known as Grêmio, is a Brazilian professional football club based in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil that plays in the Brasileirão Série A (2023), the top tier of the Brazilian football league system. This unofficial Grêmio Foot-Ball Porto Alegrense flag (Portuguese: bandeira não oficial do Grêmio Foot-Ball Porto Alegrense) consists of the team's official logo and the background and stripes derived from the team colors. The round logo in the shape of a ball includes the team name and abbreviation and the year the team was founded. The bronze, silver and gold stars above the logo symbolize the successes of the Brazilian Championship, Libertadores da América and Club World Cup, respectively.
