The waving flag of the Colorado Rapids (Animated GIF)

The Colorado Rapids are an American professional soccer club based in the Denver metropolitan area, Colorado, United States, and play in Major League Soccer (MLS) as a member of the Western Conference. This unofficial Colorado Rapids flag consists of the team's official logo and a vivid burgundy background derived from the logo. The logo, in the form of a rhombus heraldic shield, depicts a soccer ball on the peaks of the Rocky Mountains under the team name. The "96" at the bottom represents the franchise's first year in Major League Soccer.
