Esteghlal Football Club, commonly known as Esteghlal FC or simply Esteghlal, is an Iranian professional football club based in Tehran, Iran. The team competes in the Persian Gulf Pro League, the top tier of the Iranian football league system, and is one of the country's most successful and historically significant teams. This unofficial Esteghlal FC flag (Persian: پرچم غیررسمی باشگاه استقلال) features the club's official emblem centered on a blue background, a design inspired by the team's iconic home jersey and long-standing visual identity.

The Esteghlal FC logo is a blue-and-white circular emblem that reflects the club's history and major championship achievements. The emblem is based on a white circular shape with a blue border and features three large interlocking blue rings at its center. The rightmost ring is filled with sky blue and has a long, gradually narrowing blue tail extending behind it, giving the design a sense of movement and suggesting that this ring was added after the other two. As the club was originally founded as a cycling organization before expanding into football, the first two rings are associated with its early cycling identity, while the later ring may represent the club's subsequent involvement in football or the football itself. Above the rings, the club's name appears in both Persian, "استقلال" (Esteghlal), and English, "ESTEGHLAL F.C."; the name means "Independence" and has been used by the club since the 1979 Iranian Revolution. Beneath the rings are the Gregorian founding year "1945" and its equivalent in the Persian Solar Hijri calendar, "۱۳۲۴" (1324).
