Club Social y Deportivo Municipal, also known as Municipal, is a professional football club based in Guatemala City, Guatemala. The club competes in Liga Bantrab, the highest level of the Guatemalan football league system, and is one of the country's most successful and popular teams. This unofficial CSD Municipal flag (Spanish: bandera no oficial del CSD Municipal) features the club's official emblem placed on a red-and-blue horizontally divided background, a design derived from the team's traditional home kit and long-standing visual identity.

The CSD Municipal logo is based on the emblem of the Municipalidad de Guatemala, which in turn derives from the original coat of arms of the city of Santiago de los Caballeros de Guatemala. At the top of the emblem is a stylized image of the Apostle Santiago (Saint James) on horseback, holding a sword. Beneath the Apostle Santiago is a classic football of the type used when the club was founded, positioned alongside a vertically striped blue-and-red canton. Below these elements is a stylized landscape of three mountains, featuring crosses and smoke at their peaks and representing the distinctive scenery of the region. The entire design is enclosed within a circular field surrounded by a red band bearing the full team name, "CLUB SOCIAL Y DEPORTIVO MUNICIPAL". The arrangement of the Apostle Santiago, the historic football, the blue-and-red stripes, and the mountainous landscape combines the club's municipal origins with the historical and heraldic traditions of Guatemala City.
