St. Louis Blues Flag (GIF)
The St. Louis Blues are a professional ice hockey team based in St. Louis, Missouri, USA, and compete in the National Hockey League (NHL) as a member of the Central Division in the Western Conference. This unofficial St. Louis Blues flag consists of the team's official logo and a yellow background derived from the logo. The St. Louis Blues logo, a winged note, is thought to be the 64th note (a measure in notes) symbolizing the city of St. Louis, which was founded in 1764. Also, the club got its name in honor of the WC Handy song "Saint Louis Blues" and reflects the strong blues traditions of the local urban population.
