Reial Club Deportiu Espanyol de Barcelona, commonly known as Espanyol, is a professional sports club based in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain that competes in La Liga (2020-21), the top tier of the Spanish football league system. This unofficial RCD Espanyol flag (Spanish: bandera no oficial del RCD Espanyol) consists of the team's official logo and a blue-and-white striped background derived from the logo. The logo features team-colored blue-white stripes in a red ring with the team name on it, and a crown above the ring, indicating the team's royal patronage.
