SC Freiburg Fan Flag (GIF)



Sport-Club Freiburg e.V., commonly known as SC Freiburg or just Freiburg, is a football club based in Freiburg im Breisgau, Baden-Württemberg, Germany that competes in the Bundesliga (2022–23), the top tier of German football. This unofficial SC Freiburg fan flag (German: inoffizielle Flagge des SC Freiburg) consists of the team's official logo and a red-white background derived from the logo.

The upright oval logo, used since 1958, features a monogram of the letters "S, C, and F" representing the team name in the lower right and a stylized griffin head in the upper left. The griffin is a mythical creature that also appears on the right side of the state coat of arms, with the upper half being an eagle and the lower half being a lion. The black and white colors are the team's traditional colors. Overall, the logo signifies SC Freiburg's identity as a football club from Baden-Württemberg with a unique and distinctive symbol.
