Flag of Liechtenstein (GIF)

The Liechtenstein flag consists of a gold-colored crown in the canton and two horizontal bands of dark blue and red. While the blue color represents the sky, the red color refers to the evening fire burning in homes across the country. Also, the crown symbolizes the unity and princes of the people. The height-to-width ratio in the flag is 3:5, and the flag was adopted on June 30, 1982.

The shield in its coat of arms shows the different regions and families to which it is connected. The shield is surrounded by an ermine-lined purple mantle with gold tassels, and a Princely hat is at the top.

The Liechtenstein flag is waving on a flagpole rising from the world globe.
