The national flag of Cyprus (Greek: Σημαία της Κύπρου; Turkish: Güney Kıbrıs bayrağı) is a white flag with two olive branches under the dark orange map of the whole island. Olive branches and white express peace between Turks and Greeks. The height-to-width ratio in the flag is 2:3, and the flag was adopted on April 24, 2006.

Its coat of arms includes a copper shield between two olive branches, symbolizing the country's copper ores, and a white dove holding an olive branch in its beak, symbolizing peace.

The Cypriot flag is waving on a flagpole rising from the globe.
