Flag of China (GIF)

The Chinese flag is a red area with five golden stars in the canton (upper left). The red color represents the communist revolution. Five yellow stars symbolize the unity of the Chinese people (four small stars) under the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party (single big star). The height-to-width ratio in the flag is 2:3, and the flag was adopted on September 27, 1949.

Also its emblem features the Tiananmen Gate (the front gate of the Imperial City of Beijing), a national symbol, ears of wheat and rice representing agricultural workers, and a cogwheel representing industrial workers.

The China flag is waving on a flagpole rising from the world globe.
