Flag of Belgium (GIF)

The national flag of Belgium is a three-color flag consisting of three vertical lines: black (left), yellow, and red. The colors were made with the coat of arms of the Duchy of Brabant. The black color represents the shield, the yellow color symbolizes the lion, and the red color represents the lion's claws and tongue. The height-to-width ratio in the flag is 13:15, and the flag was adopted on January 23, 1831.

Also, the coat of arms includes the Royal Crown, the flags of the nine provinces that make up Belgium, a French motto meaning "Unity is Strength", and two lions supporting a shield with the Belgian Lion on it.

The Belgium flag is waving on a flagpole rising from the world globe.
