Connecticut Flag GIF



The Connecticut flag consists of a white baroque shield with three grape vines, each carrying three bunches of purple grapes on a dark blue background. There is also a stripe below the shield, which is written with the state slogan of Connecticut, which means "He who transplanted still sustains." The height-to-width ratio in the flag is 3:4, and the flag was adopted on September 9, 1897. Connecticut is the southernmost state in the northeastern US's New England region. Its capital is Hartford, and its largest city is Bridgeport; its population is about 3.606 million (2021), and its area is 5,543 mi².
