Flag of Eswatini (GIF)

The flag of Eswatini (Swaziland) consists of five horizontal stripes of varying heights, blue, yellow, red, yellow, and blue, in the middle of which there is a Swazi shield, a feathered fighting stick, and two spears. The red color represents past wars, the blue color symbolizes peace and stability, and the yellow color represents Swaziland's resources. The Nguni shield and two spears symbolize the country's protection from its enemies. The color of the shield is to show that white and black people live in peace in Swaziland. The height-to-width ratio in the flag is 2:3, and the flag was adopted on October 6, 1968.
