Moldova Flag GIF (Drapelul Moldovei)

The flag of Moldova (Romanian: Drapelul Moldovei) is a three-color flag consisting of three vertical blue, yellow, and red bands with the coat of arms of Moldova on the central yellow band. The Moldova flag is one of the national flags with different front and back faces. The front and back sides of the flag are reflections of each other. The height-to-width ratio in the flag is 1:2, and the flag was adopted on November 6, 1990.

The blue, yellow, and red colors of the Moldovan flag are the same as the national flag of Romania, with which it is both nationally and culturally close. The eagle in the coat of arms has a golden cross in its beak, an olive branch and a golden scepter in its claws, and a shield on its chest with an aurochs head.

The Moldova flag is waving on a flagpole rising from the globe.
