Flag of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (GIF)

The Saint Vincent and the Grenadines flag consists of three vertical bands of blue, yellow, and green with three green diamonds arranged in a V pattern centered on the yellow band. The diamonds represent the Grenadine Islands. The blue color represents the tropical sky and crystal waters, while the yellow color represents the golden Grenadine sands, and the green color represents the lush vegetation of the island. The height-to-width ratio in the flag is 7:11, or 2:3, and the flag was adopted on October 21, 1985.

Its coat of arms, with a cotton plant above it and the Latin inscription "Peace and Justice" below it, shows two women, one holding an olive branch, symbolizing peace, and the other making sacrifices on a golden altar, symbolizing justice.
