The Palestinian flag is composed of three equal horizontal stripes: black, white, and green, with a red triangle on the left. The colors used in the flag are derived from the Pan-Arabic colors and are used to represent the Palestinian state and the Palestinian people. The height-to-width ratio in the flag is 1:2, and the flag was adopted on May 28, 1964.

Its coat of arms depicts a black Saladin eagle with a shield covered with the Palestinian flag on its chest and a stripe on its talons that reads "Palestine" in Arabic.

The Palestine flag is waving on a flagpole rising from the world globe.
