Navarre Flag GIF (Bandera de Navarra)
The Navarre flag (Spanish: Bandera de Navarra) is a red flag with a centered Navarre coat of arms. The coat of arms consists of an emerald at the intersection of eight gold chains on a red shield, with a royal crown on top of the shield. The crown is a symbol of the ancient kingdom of Navarre. The height-to-width ratio in the flag is 2:3, and the flag was adopted on August 10, 1982. Navarre, officially known as the "Chartered Community of Navarre," is an autonomous community and province in northern Spain. Its capital is Pamplona; its population is about 649,946 (2019); and its area is 10,391 km².
