Balearic Islands Flag GIF (Bandera Islas Baleares)
The flag of the Balearic Islands (Spanish: Bandera de las Islas Baleares) consists of four horizontal red lines on a yellow field (Senyera pattern) and a white tower with five towers in the purple-colored canton. The height-to-width ratio of the flag is 2:3, and the flag was adopted in 1983. The Balearic Islands is an autonomous Spanish community in the western Mediterranean, close to the east coast of the Iberian Peninsula. Its capital is Palma; its population is approximately 1.188 million (2019); and its area is 4,992 km².
