Canary Islands Flag GIF (Bandera Islas Canarias)

The Canary Islands (Canaries) flag (Spanish: Bandera de las Islas Canarias) is a three-color flag consisting of three equal vertical white, blue, and yellow bands with the coat of arms of the Canary Islands in the middle blue band. The shield in the coat of arms contains seven gray triangles, representing the seven Canary Islands. The height-to-width ratio in the flag is 2:3, and the flag was adopted on August 16, 1982.

The Canary Islands is a Spanish archipelago and an autonomous community in Spain, located in the Atlantic Ocean. Its capitals are "Santa Cruz de Tenerife" and "Las Palmas de Gran Canaria." Its population is approximately 2.207 million (2019), and its area is 7,447 km².
