The flag of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (Arabic: علم منظمة التعاون الإسلامي) consists of a globe inside a green crescent centered on a white background. The black Kaaba at the center of the globe symbolizes the geographical heart of Islam. The height-to-width ratio in the flag is 2:3, and the current version of the flag was adopted on June 28, 2011. The Organization of Islamic Cooperation is an international organization that was founded in 1969 and consists of 57 members, 47 of which are Muslim majority countries.
